Beanstats 2.13 fine-tunes how the app reads your espresso shots from a connected smart scale, and gives ground weight a more prominent place in brew detail.

Better espresso flow detection

The pre-infusion and steady-flow detection logic has been overhauled. Beanstats now distinguishes the slow drip during pre-infusion from the steeper ramp once the pump pressurises, which means cleaner phase boundaries on the brew chart and more reliable auto-stop behaviour.

If you’ve been seeing the timer cut early or the steady-flow marker land in the wrong place, this release should clear it up.

Ground weight as a brew parameter

Ground weight now shows up as its own card in the brew parameters section of the brew detail view, alongside dose, yield, and ratio. Easier to glance at, easier to compare across shots.
